Product structure, store pages and checkout setup, with payment and promotional features agreed for the project.

Campaign landing pages

Focused pages for a defined offer, audience or campaign, with a clear action and appropriate tracking.

Portfolio websites

Project-led websites for businesses whose work needs to be seen, including photography, architecture and interior design.

Conversion improvements

Clear structure, thoughtful design and a usable handover

The implementation may use a suitable theme, custom code or a combination. The choice depends on the requirements, maintenance needs and budget; it is explained before the build.

  • An agreed sitemap and page-content requirements.
  • Responsive layouts for the agreed pages.
  • WordPress setup and required functionality.
  • Enquiry forms or ecommerce checkout, depending on the project.
  • Basic on-page structure and technical setup within scope.
  • Launch checks and an explanation of how to manage the agreed content.

Hosting, domains, paid themes/plugins, copywriting, photography, ongoing SEO and maintenance are specified separately where needed. The proposal defines pages, revision rounds, access and ownership arrangements.

Plan the experience before building the pages.

  1. Clarify the brief

Understand the business, audience, required features and what visitors should do.

  2. Plan structure and content

Agree the page hierarchy, messages, assets and customer journey.

  3. Design and develop

Build the agreed pages and functionality around the approved direction.

  4. Review and test

Check the content, links, forms, key device layouts and ecommerce functions within scope.

  5. Launch and hand over

Complete the agreed launch tasks and explain content management and any ongoing support requirements.

Design and search foundations should support each other.

Clear headings, meaningful page topics, readable content and descriptive links help both visitors and search engines understand a website. Mobile usability, image handling and technical checks belong in the build process too.

A website launch does not automatically create rankings or more enquiries. Ongoing SEO, campaign traffic and conversion improvements can be scoped when they are needed.

Questions about your website project

Can you improve my existing website?

We can review what exists and decide whether targeted improvements or a rebuild makes more sense. The recommendation depends on the platform, structure and requirements.

Will the website be easy to edit?

The editing approach is agreed during planning. For WordPress, the handover explains how to manage the content and features included in your project.

Is hosting and maintenance included?

The proposal states whether hosting setup and ongoing maintenance are included. Domains, subscriptions and recurring costs should be clear before launch.

Do I need to provide content and images?

We agree who supplies copy, images, product details and other assets. If content support or photography is needed, it is scoped separately.

Will a new website rank first on Google?

A clear, technically sound website is a useful foundation. Rankings also depend on the content, competition, authority and ongoing work, so a build does not guarantee first place.

Can you build an online store?

Yes. My portfolio includes WooCommerce work. Product numbers, payment requirements, shipping, inventory and other store features need to be agreed before development.
